I bought it for the fender of my bike, but the sponge that comes with it doesn't remove it. However, I used a piece of Scotch-Brite metal scouring pad and it came off without much effort. I cleaned it with a dry cotton cloth and that was it. The rear fender was completely covered in grime, but after applying the liquid, it no longer released grime and the difference is huge. It works well. You need to wear gloves because it's a bit strong and do it outdoors as it has a strong odor.
I tried this product on several items and it had no effect.
I tried it on a very rusty pan and the result was quite good; I didn't think it would help at all. I think the result will be even more noticeable on less rusty pans. I recommend it.
